FRIENDLY REMINDER FOR PASTORS / STAFF GIFT

Hello Hopers ~

With the holidays fast approaching, we want to remember Pastor Mark, Asst. Pastor Dave and the Hope staff and give them a gift to show our love and appreciation for all that they do for our ministry.  The past two years have been very challenging and have caused us to endure more than we ever thought fathomable, but we are turning the corner and getting back on track at Hope.  Through it all, our pastors and the Hope staff have met the challenges head on in order for us to still have the opportunity to participate in church together, worship together and pray together.  What a blessing to have a staff that goes above and beyond to make these things possible for us, as many churches and congregations are not afforded the same opportunity!

The New Testament honors vocational ministry as one of God's highest callings.  First Thessalonians 5:13-14 asks church members "to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you.  Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work."  Ephesians 4:11-12 says God gave the Church pastors and other ministry leaders "to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."  Pastors and ministry leaders are God's gifts to His people and are worthy of recognition for their willing and faithful service.

To do so, we are taking a special collection to present to Pastor Mark, Asst. Pastor Dave and the staff.

If you would like to contribute, please do one of the following:

1)      Give online on the Hope Christian Fellowship website – there is a giving option labeled "Pastor/Staff Gift".

2)      Write a check to Hope Christian Fellowship and write "Pastor/Staff gift" in the memo section.  Then drop it in the offering box or mail it to the church.

3)      Place a cash gift in an envelope (you can use the Special Offering envelopes located on the Sound Booth wall) and write "Pastor/Staff gift" on the outside.  Then drop your gift in the offering box or give it directly to Damon Briggs or Kathy Berry.

We must receive all gifts no later than Sunday, December 19th.

Please don't feel obligated to give any specific amount or to even give at all.  This is just our special way to show Pastor Mark, Asst. Pastor Dave and the staff our affection and deep gratitude for their faithfulness and sacrifice during this joyous season.  So, please only give as you feel led or are able.

If you have any questions, please reply to: Damon Briggs at (609)-314-4842 or by email at dbriggs@mandnco.com.

Thank you so much and God bless!
