Service Canceled

Hi Friends of Hope

 

We will need to cancel our Sunday services for tomorrow.  We are all disappointed to miss getting together and worshipping.  But we believe that this is the  wise course of action to take at this point with the high winds, flooding, and potential power outages.  I am sure you will all be busy keeping an eye on your home and family, as well as helping out neighbors and family, so stay safe!

 

For our schedules of workers (worship team, greeters, children's ministry teachers and workers, etc), we will just skip everyone who was scheduled to be "on" tomorrow.  In other words, we will be continuing to go by the schedules as they have been made, so if you were scheduled to be on next Sunday, please plan to be on!

 

Don't forget about our kid's program on Wednesday night - come out and support them!  We'll have the church set up like a cafe, with snacks and desserts to share, so make sure you don't miss it!  Also, remember we are only two weeks away from our 9/11 service - we'll have flyers for everyone on Wednesday so you can take a supply to give out to anyone interested!  And then on 9/18, we'll kick off our small group process and follow the service with our church picnic.  Signups will be out on Wed night for what you're bringing to the picnic, so make sure you get to them.

 

Please pray for one another and be ready to help if God gives the opportunity.  Like we talked about on Wednesday night, you never know the appointments that God might have for you - even in moments like this!
