Carole Baumiester
Good Morning church family
It is with the most profound sorrow that we announce that our dear sister in Christ, Carole, has gone home to be with our Lord. She passed away last night in Aruba, and while we are stunned beyond words, we are thankful that we know that she now is free from the pain and struggle she has suffered in the past year. Words cannot express how heart broken we are.
But we worship a God who is mighty to save and who can carry us in these moments. I would ask for your prayers for Bob as he navigates the process to get home and for him and the family as they walk this path of grief. I am so thankful for how our church poured out love this past year, and I know you'll continue to do so.
We're going to talk about this a little at church this morning, so join us at 9 or 11 as our teens lead us. Let's carry this dear family before the throne today and this week and in the coming weeks.
We do not sorrow like those without hope (1 Thess. 4:13). It doesn't mean we don't sorrow, but it does mean that our grief must be coupled with the hope Jesus brings. Carole had that hope, and now it is realized. We will see her again when the Lord returns or when we go to be with Him. For now, we fall on His mighty arms to carry us and put our trust in Him.
Pastor Mark
